87. Transformation of Organizations

The AFSMI Chapter and the Ruhr-Universität Bochum warmly invite you to the following events:

5.3.2015: 13:00 - 17:00 CFSMI CERT Meeting for AFSMI- Members and invited Guests

5.3.2015: 17:00 - 23:00 CFSMI AWARD and Networking

6.3.2015: 08:00 - 17:00 AFSMI German Chapter Meeting - Transformation of Organizations for Successful Solution Business - Service Business meets Science -

Ruhr-Uni Bochum 600

We cordially address you in English language because the AFSMI wants to repeat its successful experience of the Strasbourg meeting in 2013 and invite its other European Chapter members to this event.

Due to the importance of the Solution Business in today’s high-tech markets the German Chapter is happy to once again analyze and discuss integrated solutions, where a combination of products and services with intellectual capital, customized for specific individual needs, drives measurable business value. While service departments increasingly become mediating manager of the dynamic double interface in a customer - service - product triade, Solution Business delivery inevitably leads to profound changes in traditional ways of organizing such as customization and customer integration, dynamic capabilities and competences, organizational change and culture or leadership. The integrated coexistence of service- and product dominated logics calls for new ways of cooperating, developing, organizing, learning and selling in such Product-Service Systems (PSS).

The Ruhr-Universität Bochum is one of the rare places where the transformation of product-oriented companies to integrated Solutions Business is subject of extensive research which can be visited here http://www.lps.rub.de/tr29/english/index.htm. Therefore, we invite companies with long experience in the constant, multiple adaptations of the product-/technology-oriented management towards a successful Solution Business delivery. We would like to exchange best practices in understanding how to overcome obstacles and to anticipate fields of further improvement and development. Our scientific partner will provide a current research insight on Solution Simulations and optimized Learning Environments.

The AFSMi @ Ruhr-Universität Bochum gives floor to extensive discussions from business and science. We hope that you will join us for this exciting event run in English language with – as always – first-class speakers from the international technology services business.

Please block your calendar for the entire day on March 6th 2015 and also the late afternoon and evening on March 5th, where this year’s CFSMI[1] Award winner will be presented. We will have a first keynote by the Ruhr-Universität Bochum followed by the traditional AFSMi Networking diner.

Best Regards from
